Individual Therapy

$138 incl GST per therapy hour (about 50 minutes).

I am open to negotiation, especially if you are experiencing hardships or difficult financial circumstances. Please let me know and we can try to come to an agreed arrangement.

I only offer counselling for adult individuals.

Cancellations/What If I am Late?

Cancellations which are 24 hours prior to our scheduled meeting incur no charge. Cancellations on the day will incur a charge of $50. I understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can happen in which case we can talk about what’s reasonable together.

If you arrive late the missed time will be at your cost.

Are you eligible for WINZ funding?

The Disability Allowance is available for people who have a disability or ongoing health condition and need help with the additional costs directly associated with that condition. It’s generally available to people who qualify for a Community Services Card, including those on a benefit or people who are working (income tested). Your GP is the first person to contact for this help & they will need to recommend counselling as part of your treatment for the disability or condition.

Payment

Payment can be made by direct bank transfer.

I am unable to offer payment by eftpos.

Confidentiality

Our sessions together are confidential and are between you and me. Confidentiality is a key part of the effectiveness of counselling, so our conversations and my notes are confidential. There are some exceptions to my duty of confidentiality which are:

1. If I consider you may be at clear risk of imminent harm to yourself or another person
2. If a child is at risk of abuse or neglect or in need of protection
3. For the purposes of complying with a legal order.

I do keep notes after every session, these are for my use, a way to keep track of themes, events and what is important to you.

As a counselling professional I do have regular supervision and I may discuss client issues whilst keeping your identity confidential.
